01About these terms

This website is operated by QB Solutions Advisor ("we", "us" or "our"). By using the website you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Any services we provide are governed by your written proposal or service agreement together with these terms. If a written agreement says something different from these terms, the written agreement applies.

02Our services

We provide bookkeeping, account receivable, financial reporting, accounts reconciliation, invoice processing, accounts payable, payroll management, budgeting and forecasting, and data entry services for businesses.

The scope, schedule, deliverables and fees for each engagement are agreed in a written proposal before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

03Consultations and proposals

The initial consultation is free and does not commit you to anything. Services begin only after you approve a written proposal. A proposal is valid for the period stated on it.

04Your responsibilities

To let us deliver the services accurately and on time, you agree to:

  • provide complete, accurate and timely information, documents and access to the systems we need;
  • review the reports and other work we deliver, and tell us promptly about anything that looks incorrect;
  • keep any login details you share with us, or that we share with you, secure and confidential;
  • use our services only for lawful purposes.

Our work relies on the information you provide. You remain responsible for your business decisions and for meeting your own legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

05Scope of our work

Our services are bookkeeping, accounting and financial support. Unless your written agreement expressly includes it, we do not file tax returns, provide legal advice or act as your statutory payroll provider. Payroll management covers the payroll data, calculations, records and reports set out in your proposal.

06Fees and payment

Fees, billing frequency and payment terms are set out in your proposal or service agreement. If a payment is overdue, we may pause the services until the account is brought up to date, after letting you know.

07Confidentiality

We treat the financial information you share with us as confidential and use it only to provide the agreed services. How we handle personal information submitted through this website is described in our Privacy Policy.

08Third-party software

Where we work in accounting or payroll software that you use, that software remains subject to its provider’s own terms. Product names mentioned on this website belong to their respective owners.

09Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, graphics and the QB Solutions Advisor name and logo, belongs to QB Solutions Advisor or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own information, but you may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

Reports and other deliverables we prepare for you may be used by you for your business purposes once the related fees are paid.

10Use of this website

You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, or submitting false, unlawful or harmful content through its forms.

The information on this website is general and is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. We try to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or remove content at any time.

11Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, QB Solutions Advisor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data, arising from the use of this website or our services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for a claim relating to an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement in the twelve months before the claim, unless your written agreement states otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12Ending an engagement

Either party may end an engagement as set out in the proposal or service agreement. When an engagement ends, fees for work already performed remain payable, and we will return your records and documents as agreed.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, unless your written agreement specifies otherwise.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
